In existence unofficially since January 2009, Successiory has evolved. Going from a business strategy consulting firm to communications, then social media and back to business strategy consulting in February 2011, when hired for an Ontario Government project, today Successiory is focused on only four (4) business pillars – pricing, process, schedule and social media – to streamline your efforts and create space in your business for you.

Early Successiory failures and mentors helped solidify what you see today. Differentiating corporate salary from business pricing. Working in and on business. Just a few reasons Your E.A.S.Y. About Crystal-Marie

A warm welcome from Crystal-Marie. I can share the usual story, or you can read more about it on LinkedIn. Essentially, my career began in 2001 with environmental science and consulting roles with Unilever Caribbean (2001-’04), GENIVAR now WSP (2005-’08). After my MBA from the Schulich School of Business (2008-’10), through my beloved Successiory (2009-present), I was fortunate to work with clients such as the Ontario government (2011), BMO (2015) and more, across two countries and several industries, including business strategy, social media consulting, environmental and engineering consulting, higher education and non-profits.

Today, as a strategy consultant, I focus on empowering clients to create, "Your E.A.S.Y. Affluence Business Model™ by Successiory", a signature strategy consulting service focused, intrinsically, on pricing, process and feasible schedules, and extrinsically, on client social media community. I’ve learned to invite (not direct) my clients, often entrepreneurs - premium service professionals, consultants, creatives, often introverts and women, to create unique business models that truly energize them. These are not usually mainstream models.

As author and speaker, I’ve been speaking publicly since 2004. I was thrown into it, but I truly love it now. I have since delivered over 30 talks, including my signature workshops, by 2014. In 2015, I spoke at over 15 events, was nominated for the Canadian Association of Marketing Professionals (CAMP) Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and became an Amazon.ca bestseller with my chapter in “DYNAMO Diaries - Volume 1” on August 9th 2015. Past speaking clients and events include Iler Campbell's Tools Conference 2015, Bank of Montreal (BMO), GroYourBiz™ Advisory Boards, Toronto Public Libraries, DivaGirl Conference 2016 and more. I love speaking when I know the audience really benefits! On a personal note, I'm an MBA, entrepreneur, millennial, dancer, author and so much more yet, like you, I don't fit the stereotypes. After years of workaholism and the health and relationship losses that go with that lifestyle, I've stopped 'paying lip service' to terms like authenticity, self care and sustainability. My health scare pushed me into living them. Becoming an entrepreneur has helped me grow personally more than anything else in my life, except becoming a mother. Today, I truly value self care, free will and individual sovereignty, in life and in business, believing that this is what creates a healthy global community.

My Story, Values, Purpose & Vision

My Story

Workaholism. The story of many professionals. Hospitalized twice for blackouts (2007) and paralyzed for five (5) unexplained minutes (2009), I finally learned that I had to stop planning to take care of myself and actually do it — make me a priority. I think I’ve learned.

Successiory made me take action — not my health (I know, I know). Once I honoured it full time, it opened up a whole new world for me. I loosened the reigns of my A-type personality during the MBA (2008-10), but this business, after working in corporate around science and logic (2001-08), awakened my feminine, often highly empathetic, side (2014+). It is priceless, knowing myself, and a lifelong journey for me.

Today, “Your E.A.S.Y. Affluence Business Model™ by Successiory” is the culmination of the lessons I’m learning. Emphasis on space and energy has allowed me to slow down, find synchronicity through intuitive flow and ease, and notice when my dreams manifest. I’d always wanted to a virtual business, so I could stay at home with my little one. I now have that business and my little one!

Finally, if I was falling apart, and unable to live my dream, how could I empower others to live theirs? Or lead my children by example? I've turned that around. I’m here to hold space for you to do the same — on your own terms.

Purpose

At Successiory 'less is more' and 'self care overflows to client care'. To Live Your Dream and Leave Your Legacy, you have to Live. Strategy consulting, speaking, social media services are all designed to give space to breathe and hear yourself think. It’s the easiest way to make decisions mindfully, conscious of the short- and long-term impact on you and your loved ones, business, clients and community. It’s then a business fully aligned with your goals and values, and one that’s easier to articulate.

Plus, and this is a core reason Successiory was founded — you have at least one voice reminding you that, You can do this; you’re fine as you are.

In essence, individual sovereignty, authenticity, self care to overflow guide me. I empower clients for sustainable success.

Pareto's 80/20: Prioritize the 20% of tasks, relationships, that bring 80% of energy, earnings. Focus on ideal clients & services.
Lifestyle:
It’s not all work for most of us. More than afford the lifestyle you truly desire.
Community: Entrepreneurs are not always lonely. Set and honour boundaries. Be selective about clients, partners and networks.

My Philosophy:
1. Law of Attraction. Flow and ease bring success. More mind work. Less hard work.
2. Wealth Mindset. Money is energy that supports us in Love. It always seeks to do so.
3. Individual Sovereignty. Free will, intuition and authenticity create sustainable business.
4. Focus not fight. More focus on what we want and love, less on activism or fears.

I believe it’s important to be gentle with ourselves, and others, honouring where we each are, even as we sometimes have to set boundaries that keep others at bay as they evolve. Hence my talk on “The Disruption of Authenticity” — lovingly releasing what doesn’t work as we evolve, but without resentment or rebellion.

Such freedom. Live and let live.
